Carrie Legg is a visual journalist from Columbus, Ohio, now living in Athens, Ohio. She is currently studying to receive a Bachelors of Science in Visual Communication for photojournalism at Ohio University and is Photo Editor at The Post, Athens. Legg has done work for the Columbus Dispatch as well as Rails to Trails Conservancy and hopes to travel when she is done earning her undergraduate degree.
There is a power in truthful and emotional visuals. They can share stories and connect people in unexpected ways. Carrie is passionate about creating visual stories through a variety of mediums with a focus in photography. She wants to share the experiences of people and provoke emotional reactions and thoughts through her work.
